Traditional dance 3: Old Songhay dance (Zarma/Djerma) YouTube Zarma music & dance clips This is an old Songhay dance dating from the 14th century, performed by a dance troupe of the Zarma people of Niger and Northern Nigeria. This old clip was taken from Nigerien TV by Ahmed. Intruments are a tsiriki a traditional flute, a gooje a traditional fiddle (in Songhay njarka), a dondoŋ a talking drum and a kotso a traditional snare drum.
