Pictures from the final of the 35^th edition of the traditional wrestling games in Diffa, Niger on 16 March 2014. This video includes the award of the sabre by the prime minister Brigi Rafini and pictures of the president Mahamadou Issoufou looking at the final at home.

The final is between Yacouba Adamou from the Niamey region and Ibrahim Namata from Dosso region. This final lasted for almost one hour. Yacouba Adamou wins the sabre bringing this symbol for the first time to Niamey. Yacouba Adamou was a finalist in 2012, but lost his fight against Laminou Maidaba from the Agadez region.

At these games, 80 wrestlers attended in total; this is 10 per region. A complete list of finalist since 1975 is given here.
